IFTPS mourns the loss of Dr. Kurt Wiese, a brilliant scientist, gifted teacher, and treasured friend. Kurt generously shared his knowledge, humor, and experience with our community for many years. His contributions to thermal processing and to IFTPS will not be forgotten.

Sandra and Kurt’s sister, Patti, have a great deal to manage at this time, so information regarding a possible memorial service is not yet available. We will share service details with the IFTPS community once the family has made those arrangements.
